Bigfoot’s Farm is a small family farm in Bloomingdale, Ohio — Jefferson County, about twenty minutes from Steubenville and an hour from Pittsburgh. We raise a small number of well-loved, thoroughly socialized animals. “Small number” is doing heavy lifting in that sentence; the goats multiply every time we blink.
An honest note about availability: it changes with every surprise birth announcement, and around here those happen at 11 p.m. on a Saturday. Nigerian Dwarf Goats — Ohio
Small goats, enormous personalities. Nigerian Dwarfs are friendly, compact, great with families, and productive little milkers if you’re into that. I once publicly called them “nitrogen goats” and I refuse to fully retract it — spend one afternoon downwind and tell me I was wrong.

From Mama Ivy’s surprise litter of four — born right here at 11 p.m. on a Saturday night and live-blogged to the internet in real time — we have one Nigerian Dwarf kid available: Bunny — a spotted, blue-eyed doeling, $350. Her brothers are staying here. She is a part bottle baby — mama had four and the milk bar seats two — which means she has been weighed, fed, and handled every single day of her life and is firmly convinced humans are just tall goats.
The blue eyes are standard equipment in this family.
Full honesty, because that’s the house policy: we’re keeping three of the four, and we’re not entirely sure we want to sell Bunny either. If the right home doesn’t come along, she’ll simply stay here being spoiled. She’s unregistered — no paperwork, all personality — and at $350 she is priced below what a blue-eyed, spotted Nigerian Dwarf doeling usually brings around here. That is on purpose. We would rather she land in the right home than squeeze the last fifty dollars out of her. Serious, prepared homes only. Expect questions. Possibly a background check from a pug.
One important note on timing: Bunny was born on August 1, 2026, which means she hits 8 weeks and full weaning right now. She is ready to go home to the right person. We watched her grow up on the blog, which, fair warning, has made this harder for us than we expected.

Bunny is the black and white one, and she is the reason we keep saying we’re “not sure” we want to sell. Striking blue eyes, spots scattered like somebody flicked a paintbrush at her, and a personality that lands somewhere between curious and completely fearless. Part bottle baby, handled every single day, and utterly unbothered by humans.
First one up the ramp. Every time.
She’s the explorer of the litter — if there’s a new object in the pasture, Bunny has already climbed it, tasted it, and filed a report. That curiosity makes her a wonderful little doe for someone who wants a goat with actual presence rather than a lawn ornament.

Rocky Mountain Horses — Ohio
Smooth-gaited, sure-footed, famously kind-natured — the horse for people who want to actually enjoy the ride. Ours come from registered bloodlines with paperwork requirements slightly stricter than a European monarchy, which I complain about constantly and comply with completely. We’re members of the Rocky Mountain Horse Club of Ohio, and our own two — Freya and Apollo — are not for sale, but we’re glad to point you toward good people in the club who do have horses available.

Here’s what you’re actually buying when you buy from this farm: every animal here is raised under the eye of Mariah — a lifelong vet tech, a graduate of Oregon State University in animal medicine, with over twenty years of hands-on experience. Kids are weighed daily, handled constantly, and health-watched by someone who has spent her entire life doing exactly this.
You won’t find animals anywhere who get more proper love and care than the ones we raise — because we raise every single one as if it’s already at its forever home. Sometimes that’s literally true, which is why the “for sale” section of this page keeps shrinking.
How buying from us works
We care a great deal about where these animals end up, so expect questions — the same way we interrogate hay dealers and (unsuccessfully) handymen.
