Chicken Coop U-Haul… Where You At?

Chicken Coop U-Haul… Where You At?

Chicken Coop U-Haul… where you at?

Apparently we can summon a stranger to deliver sushi, a mattress, or drive us to the airport with three taps on a phone…

But the second you need to move a chicken coop, civilization completely collapses.

I’m looking for recommendations, or maybe someone with a truck, a tilt trailer, some free time, and an appreciation for beer money.

I need to move a 6×8 chicken coop with an attached covered run from Wooster to Bloomingdale.

77 miles. Door to door.

One piece.

88” wide, 196” long, 103” high.

The suburban ranch home for chickens in question

The seller recommends a 3-ton tilt trailer.

My Google University degree says around $400 is a reasonable budget for a move like this, but if I’m way off, tell me. I’ve been wrong before. Usually right after saying, “How hard can it be?”

I do own a trailer…

…I also own enough common sense to know there’s a difference between hauling mulch and towing what is essentially a suburban ranch home for chickens.

So if you know a shed mover, have the right equipment, or you’re the kind of person who gets excited when someone says, “I’ve got a weird one for ya,” let’s talk.

As an added incentive, the first dozen eggs are on us once the girls settle into their new neighborhood.

Tag your truck friends. Tag your trailer friends. Tag that one guy who somehow owns every piece of equipment known to mankind but still says, “Yeah… I got a guy.”

Thanks! 🐔🚜🍻

Side view. Note the covered run, the weathervane, and the property value.
